Offering caring education and support to new and growing families!

There are a few things that I will ask you to bring to your own birth, and some things that I will bring for you.  I will bring massage tools, a clean, new rice sock (for you to keep!), as well as other tools and objects to use for your labor.
I do ask, though, that you bring:

-Lotion to use for massage.  This can be scented or unscented.  Please keep in mind that  the longer it takes to soak in, the better.  If you need suggestestions, do not hesitate to ask me!

-Music to listen to, since this is so different from person to person.  In some hospitals, you may also be required to bring somthing to play this music on.  Headphones may also be helpful.

-A robe.  You never know if the hospital numbers will be comfortable enough, plus it's just another touch of home that can make you more at ease.

-A sports bra.  In the tub, in the shower, just in general...a touch of privacy that may come in handy at some point..

-Emergen-C or sports drink.  It's important to have calories during labor!  Even marathon runners are offered some form of calories during races.  You need energy, too!
